On the 7th of October, the Urdaibai Bird Center will organize free guided visits to the center for all the people that want to participate in the world bird day in the Biosphere Reserve of Urdaibai.
Through this worldwide celebration, it is expected to emphasize the different aspects related to the knowledge, study, protection and enjoyment of birds simultaneously all over the world.
Therefore, different organizations dedicate their efforts during this day to make birds known from all the range, including the most local one.
In this context, Urdaibai Bird Center will offer a program of free visits of an hour and a half on Sunday 7th of October, for groups of, at the most, 20 people. In those visits, the equipment of the center will be shown and the visitors will see the migratory birds that stop over in the wetland during their travel to Africa and can also participate in a bird ringing day.
The visits will be guided by technicians of the center and will begin at 11:00h and the last turn of visits will start at 13:00 h. |
