HUMBOLDT September 11 and 12, 2014.- Already in Africa

"Humboldt" begins its journey early; it wants to take advantages of coolest hours of the day to travel. It is located in the province of Albacete, approaching Andalucía. At midday crosses the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park in the province of Jaen, which is the largest protected space in Iberian Peninsula. Our young osprey passes near the swamp of Tranco that was probably used to practice their first attempts at fishing.

In the evening reaches the coast of El Ejido, Almería. Will the osprey have forces to cross the Alboran Sea tomorrow?

The next morning moves over the coast of Almeria to go to Granada´s coast; without stopping his flight, in few hours, is in Malaga. It seems as if it´s finding the most suitable way to cross the strait. Maybe is waiting for better conditions to cross.

In the afternoon at about 5:00 reaches Gibraltar, is the place where both sides of the continents are closer."Humboldt" is in the right place. Without thinking twice crosses the strait and in less than an hour arrives to Ceuta.

Very exhausted, at 19:00 decides to rest. They are been hard days for our young fisherwoman. In three days he has flown over the peninsula from north to south and has had enough forces to cross the strait.
