MALASPINA September 6rd, 2014. She has arrived in the coastal of Granada

Malaspina flies toward the west. Is today when she will cross the Mediterranean to Africa? The answer depends on the physical state she is in and the favorable winds that might have.
The majority of bird species are piled in the Strait of Gibraltar and crossing into Africa when weather conditions are suitable because it is the place where the two continents are closer. But that's not the case for ospreys as they generally do not have troubles to fly long distances without stopping, so they don't have to move to the Strait.

When she arrives at the Granada coast around 14:00 she decided to continue into the Alboran Sea but soon she realizes that today is not the day to take the plunge and decided to return to the European coast.

Today she spends the night at the Granada coast, surrounded by small greenhouses, at the foot of the majestic Sierra Nevada.
