MALASPINA September 4th, 2014.- She continues flying to the south.

The next morning Malaspina begins its long journey early, no time to waste. She is in the province of Soria.

By midmorning our young osprey is flying near the town of Gómara, a small town with extensive fields of cereals. In the early hours of the morning she flies low altitude, but in the midday she gradually climbs up to 1,200 meters above the ground. It could be due to high temperatures that lifts soil.

Malaspina is in the province of Cuenca at about 15:00 pm and then she decided to rest in the Hoces del Cabriel Natural Park, on the border with Valencia. Malaspina has spent the night a few meters from the Contreras reservoir and probably she had option to fish or at least practice her first attempts at fishing.

Today Malaspina has flown 260 kilometers flying over Soria, Guadalajara and Cuenca. She is a strong and healthy osprey, ready to get to what will be her home for the next two years, Africa. Which territories will she visit tomorrow?
