Recently Urdaibai Bird Center has participated in Netherlands in a workshop organized by the "Migratory Birds for People" entity.

This entity is part of Wetland Link International and consists on 24 visitor centers located in wetlands across Europe and West Africa, forming a network of transcontinental centers following wetland birds through the East Atlantic Flyway. We work together on bird migration, managing wetlands and sensitizing people about the importance of the wetlands.

One of the main objectives of the network visitor centers is to share information about birds migration through new technologies such as webcams, satellite tracking ... and, also, use this information to raise awareness of the importance of migratory birds conservation and their habitats.
