The Ospreys have already crossed the desert of Sahara!

Tuesday, 15 October 2013 08:41

At this moment the Ospreys are already in lands of Western Africa after have crossed the vast desert of Sahara, so they are close to some of the most important rivers in Africa.

After they have traveled following almost the same routes, the Ospreys have taken different ways and now they are divided among Senegal and Mali.

Therefore, our friends have landed in wetter lands and with more vegetation, after they have crossed arid and semiarid lands. Besides, in the areas where they are now, the rainy season continues so the big rivers are plenty of water, offering them a lot of food to survive.
