As culmination of the more than 200 events planned, on Sunday 18 took place a paper dedicated to the recovery of osprey in the UK. The renowned ornithologist Roy Dennis and Tim Mackrill outlined the successes achieved through the reintroduction of this species as well as many interesting facts related to satellite tracking of several specimens, some of whom visited during their travel Urdaibai migration to Africa. This led to performances by Scottish singer Fiona Kennedy and Global Harmony choir that performed songs inspired by the osprey in the UK and Senegal.
