Positive turnout of audio guided visits in Urdaibai Bird Center

Both kind of visits offered in the Urdaibai Bird Center, guided visits and self-guided visits, from the 1st of July are being well received by tourists that in summer time are approaching to the  Center. Self-guided visits offer to the visitor the possibility to visit the Center individually and autonomously through audio guides that provide simple and clear information about different subjects in which is divided the Center.

Moreover, the increase in the number and diversity of birds favour the enjoyment of these visits finding every day different species in the wetlands of Gautegiz Arteaga. The beginning of the post breeding migration increases the value of the visits offering the opportunity to see the first Eurasian Teals, Common Greenshank and Redshank, Dunlins, Common Sandpiper, Black-tailed Godwit...

Wadders in the marsh

Guided visits offer on their behalf, the opportunity to know in depth the activities of the Center and to interact with the technicians, receiving interesting  explanations about bird's identification and biology. Guided visits start at 11.30 am from Tuesday to Sunday from the 1st of July to the 15th of September, being Basque the preference language in odd days and Spanish in even days, and a maximum of 20 people per group.

Opening hours are: from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00.
