More Time for Bird Watching! Spring Timetable

Spring is coming and the days are getting longer so there is more time for birdwatching!

From the 1st March,Urdaibai Bird Center will be open from 11.00 to 16.00 Tuesday to Friday. On Saturday, Sundayand public holidays opening hours are from 11.00 to 19.00. On Mondays the center is closed.

Soon migration will be in full swing and the birds that have been wintering further south will start to move towards their breeding grounds in the north. We have already seen some earlytravellers. Swallows and black kites have been spotted from the center.

Soon many different species will be stopping off in Urdaibai to rest and replenish on their migratory journeys.
