Urdaibai Bird Center participates in VII NATIONAL ECO-TOURISM CONGRESS

A few days ago the Urdaibai Bird Center participated in the Vll National Eco-tourism Congress.

This initiative was proposed by the Ecotourism Association in Spain to the Secretary of State for Tourism and the Autonomous Organism National Parks in 2016. The objective of the congress is to lay the foundations and criteria for the development of ecotourism on the Iberian Peninsula with all the organizations involved, ensuring that the product contributes to local sustainable development and nature conservation.

Edorta Unamuno, biologist and ornithologist at the Urdaibai Bird Center, shared our exprience in the use of new technologies for the promotion of the destination.

The central theme was the Urdaibai Bird CenterYouTube channel, whose live cams brings the nature in Urdaibai to thousands of homes around the world.
