During these days we have noticed that many of the little birds that usually winter in the south of Europe and North of Africa are arriving to our land. Some of them will stay with us all the oncoming  harsh winter and others will continue their journey towards the south looking for more template areas such as the ones previously mentioned.

Turdus iliacus, Redwing.

Song thrushes, redwings, flocks of meadow pipits, goldfinches, common chaffinches, european robins, common red buntings and many other little birds can be observed quite easily both in the countryside and in the surroundings of the marshes of Gautegiz Arteaga during these fresh autumn mornings.

Anthus pratensis, Meadow pipit

Emberiza schoeniclus, Common Red Bunting

Fringilla coelebs, Common chaffinch
