Yesterday was held the world meteorological day and in the same way as last year, Urdaibai Bird Center also wanted to contribute to disclose different aspects of meteorological factors and birds.

 In addition, visit attendees had the oportunity to find out more about the features that the Basque meteorology agency (Euskalmet) has inside the center, highlighting among them the unique radio sounding station of Euskadi. The visit was ended up with the spectacular launch of the weather balloon to the atmosphere.
