New programme for visits to Bird Center in summer

From the 1st of July, the Urdaibai Bird Center will start with the new visit programme for summer 2013. This summer, besides the guided visits made by technicians of the Center, will be the possibility to do Self-Guided visits. Through audio-guides, the visitor could visit the Center in an autonomous way. These devices can be used individually without the necessity to resort to the guided visit which can be made individually in the established schedule from July on. The guided visits will begin at 11.30 am every day (from Tuesday to Sunday) from the 1st of July to the 15th of September, establishing as preferential language the Basque the odd days and Spanish the even days and with a maximum of 20 people per group.

The opening hours will be extended until the afternoon in order to offer a greater availability for those ones that are visiting the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve (from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00).

For guided visits is desirable the appointment, as the arranged visits will have priority over those not agreed in advance. SELF-GUIDED VISITS:

The price of the visit includes the audio guide, device that allows you to enjoy the museum in an autonomous way, with explanations about the nature of Urdaibai and also about the projects carried out in the Center.

Adults: 5€

Children 5-12 years: 2€

Children 0-4 years: free.

Visit hours: at 11.30 am (1h30 hours long)

Preference: Odd days Basque Language - Even days Spanish

There is no chance to make the guided tour in English during the summer.
