“Iradier” is a male born in Thurso, a coast town in the north of Scotland. It can be identified by a yellow ring with ‘P8’ code. It was named in honor of Manuel Iradier (1854-1911), africanist and explorer born in Vitoria (Basque Country). He conducted two exploratory trips to equatorial Africa where he collected numerous geographical, biological, ethnographical and linguistical information.
