Status
A migrant that is regularly seen in Urdaibai, mainly from Scandinavia, Germany and Scotland. Those birds that migrate along the East Atlantic Flyway mainly winter on the northwest of the African continent (between Mauritania and Nigeria). Only seen in the Gautegiz Arteaga wetlands during migration periods. A year after the regeneration of the wetlands, it could be seen catching fish. The pre-nuptial migration between March and early May and the post-nuptial migration from the end of August to October.
