The Glossy Ibis (Plegadis falcinellus) is a species that is being more and more usual in the marshes of Orueta, but not only because of the presence of some individuals but also due to the continuous movement of diferent birds that has been detected in Urdaibai.

This fact is corroborated by the sighting of a new individual that carried a colour ring on 11th June and stayed until the 13th.

Those rings enable the identification of an individual in the distance through the telescope and so, know when and where it was ringed and if it has been seen somewhere else.

For this reason, the data had been sent throught the contacts of the official website that summarize the Proyects with Colour Rings in Europe and we are waiting for the answer with the information about this bird.
