PF portadapf 2019

- URDAIBAI RESERVE - We are delighted to announce the arrival of PF, the first osprey from the Urdaibai Bird Center reintroduction programme to return this year.
PF or Pink Floyd, as he is known, was translocated from Scotland in 2014 along with 9 other ospreys. They were then released in Urdaibai. To date, PF is the only individual from the group who is known to have returned. He has done so every year since 2016, spending a few days here with us. Apart from the fact that he is Urdaibai for a short time, we know little about where he spends the rest of the season.
As an adult male, PF could find a mate and breed in Urdaibai or any other wetland in the region this spring.
