Representatives of Urdaibai Bird Center had the opportunity to visit Hula Valley, located in the north of Israel, very close to the border with Lebanon and the Golan Heights. This valley is located in the middle of the migratory flyway from the East Europe and Asia towards the wintering areas in Africa and it is one of the most important stopover in this flyway. It is easy to see a big number of birds of prey (White-tailed Eagle, Eastern Imperial Eagle, Greater Spotted Eagle, Black-winged Kite...) and thousands of water birds passing the winter or stopovering in its wetlands.
