- URDAIBAI RESERVE- This month a new returning osprey has been observed next to the Urdaibai Bird Center. It is "34", a male released in 2015. Therefore, of 33 young ospreys released between 2013 and 2015, we know that at least seven, all of them male, have managed to survive and return to the north of the Iberian peninsula, a spectacular rate of return, much higher than one might expect.

Now it is only a matter of time for these males to establish territory and to find a mate.
