The number of visitors during Easter holidays exceed the expectations one more year at the Urdaibai Bird Center

-URDAIBAI RESERVE- More and more tourists decide to practice local tourism during this festive season, motivated mainly by the pleasant climate, the wide range of activities and the famous gastronomy of the Basque Country.

In the case of the Urdaibai Bird Center we must add the ornithological richness that can be observed during this season of the year, as it coincides with the migratory pass of many species on their route to the large breeding areas in the north of Europe.

The more than 2000 people who have visited us during these days have been able to enjoy the observation of such emblematic species as the Osprey, the Spoonbill or the Ruff. As well as pleasant walks to the observatories and outdoor picnics in the garden area enabled for that in the center enclosure.

In order to continue to provide all these services to the visitors, the Urdaibai Bird Center will remain open everyday, except for Mondays, until the summer extension of the opening timetable.
