Basque Coast Museums Day 2015

Next Sunday, 21st of June, Urdaibai Bird Center will offer an open doors day in order to celebrate the Basque Coast Museums Day. This year´s slogan is: "A treasure of our coast". According to it, each center will show a treasure related to its activity. In the case of our center, this big treasure will be the Black-winged stilt. If you are lucky you may see this specie in Orueta´s wetland in front of Urdaibai Bird Center.

The Basque Coast Museums net is a collaboration net between the cultural equipments of the Basque Coast including museums and interpretation centers, among others. It is suppose to help us in creating a shared tourist offer as well as spreading the cultural offer in our coast. For doing so, it develops common museum products, shared projects and communication and promotion actions.
