As the culmination of the activities carried out during all the week in relation to the World Migratory Bird Day, an open day was celebrated in the center. During this special event the "Migratory Birds for People" area was first opened, as well as carrying out many other activities as a live demonstration of bird ringing, which was one of the most appreciated ones. The influx of visitors was constant and they enjoyed the visit to the center with an amazing weather. It was an interesting day for the observation of the birds as they are in the middle of the prenuptial migration. Great White Egret Garganeys Ruff Barn Swallow Species like the Spoonbill, the Swallow, the Garganey and even the Temminck's Stintand and the Osprey were also seen. |
